![]() ![]() Should add this is not isolated to one device - we have various testing devices all using the Preflight and Live versions and are experiencing exactly the same problems on mobiles and tablets. If anyone has been through anything similar and can offer any words of wisdom I would be very grateful. I have tried updating the iOS and restarting several times, and I've hit the delete content option in settings to shift anything buggy that might be causing problems. I've made no changes to the app build itself, though naturally enough we have added new content in the meantime (though that has not caused problems on the live app build). Until last week this was working well, with no problems. I have a published app (which is working fine) and a preflight app accompanying it which we use to preview content across various devices before pushing it live. Let me know if this is helpful to anyone who happens to stumble across this same issue.Does anyone have any experience of a preflight version of an app suddenly stopping working on iOS - by which I mean, crashing immediately during its loading screen when you try to open it? Not going to question the specifics or even what specific file/folder was causing the error, but all I know is deleting those preference/cache folders in my AppData folder worked for me. After deleting all three associated Acrobat folders (in Local, LocalLow, and Roaming), I re-opened Acrobat DC and Preflight was working. , and not only did I delete the folder in Roaming, but I went back to C:\Users\\AppData\ and also went into the Local and LocalLow folders, which both should have an Adobe folder containing a child "Acrobat" folder (probably more user preference and cache files stored there). I went into the article mentioned by AmaL. I noticed the issue persisted in this version as well, and came to googling for this issue and stumbled across this thread. I followed their instructions, and I ended up downloading version 2022.001.20117 via Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop as part of the enterprise account provided by my school. I had a different installation which had this problem and which I didn't want to renew, I figured I might as well switch over to my school's enterprise account. ![]() I was running into the same problem just today. ![]() Wondering if there's been an update with this issue from anyone else. If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool - reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the link. ![]() Try the FREE, 30-Day, fully-functional FlightCheck demo. Preview, preflight, report, and package all print elements for desktop publishing, printing, uploading, archiving, and more. Then on the lower right you will click analyze. FlightCheck is a stand-alone application to preflight PDF and DTP files for print quality. One the Preflight window is open you will pick prepress from the dropdown in the top left corner. Then choose Preflight in the right panel. and see if that works for you.Īlso, please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check. Choose Tools then scroll down to the Print Production Icon and on the ADD dropdown choose open and locate the file. Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page. Would you mind sharing the version of the application you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once. As described the preflight panel wont open and you have tried repairing and removing and reinstalling the application with no luck. Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. ![]()
